  How Extreme Will Witnesses Become?

  i think this is a question worth considering - just how extreme will witnesses become?.

  first, the hierarchy: there are numerous accounts stretching back for years of gb members skipping meetings,.

  ignoring field service and treating "vital" doctrine in a cavalier fashion.

  when you travel to other cities, do you find that women or men look nicer or more sexy than in your home town?

  when you and i've talked about your trip to bethel, i had only a very few clues about the ramifications of your 'experience,' and how much it changed your life.. everyone else has said 'thank you' too .

  and also, because i know i'm embarrassing the shyte outta ya.

  But at our CA the f*cking circuit overseer said instead that if we 'had instructions from the king to bend over, our only response should be how far?'

  Actually, nothing, and I mean, NOTHING would surprise me anymore RE the extremes the WTS will take things.

  Even avishai's supposition is possible in my mind.

  Case in point.

  My dear wife has already admitted to me that she expects; and I mean she FULLY EXPECTS, that jehover [read, the WTS] will ask his servants to do something that will seem completely wrong and contradictory to what we would be expected to do as a final test of his servants. It won't make sense at all. It will seem as far fetched, as she says, "as jehovah asking Abraham to sacrifice his only son."

  Friends, [sorry 'bout that word, I cringed too when I typed it] anything and everything is fair game for the die-hard faithful in JW land.

  The thing THAT WOULD surprise me is if the WTS would actually print something like;

  "We have made serious mistakes and errors in the past. We, the publishers of this rag, as the acting GB, ask for forgivness from God and from our fellow servants of Jehovah."

  Now THAT would surprise me.

  Never did they say, 'These are the words of Jehovah.' ~ WT mag.

  When I had my 1st meeting with the elders regarding this topic, it was easy to get to the truth of the matter of where the WTS stands on this subject:

  THEM: "The WTS never claims to speak for Jah."

  ME:"That doesn't make sense to me. I thought that the WTS is the organization that Jah is using on earth today?"

  THEM: "It is."

  ME: "And I have going door to door representing this organization, right?"

  THEM: "Yes..."

  ME: "And I've been told that the very name 'Jehovah's Witnesses' means that we are witnessing for the name of Jehovah, right?"

  THEM: "Yes, that's true..."

  ME: "Well then, if we as Jehovah's Witnesses AREN'T speaking for Jehovah today, what organziation in the world is???"

  THEM:"........[Add cricket chirps here...]"

  They try to have it both ways. It doesn't work like that. Either you are or you aren't, not both.
